Ease of Use.

The Samaritan PAD is activated by pressing the green on button. The pads and battery pack are packaged together (one expiry date to track) and the unit prompts the rescuer visually and verbally.

Just open the package and apply the pads.

The status indicator will blink, letting you know the PAD is ready for use

The SAMARITAN ® PAD uses HeartSines SCOPE T Biphasic technology (a low-energy waveform that adjusts for the differences in each persons physical make-up) to deliver optimal defibrillation to every patient. It has an auto-self test, providing less maintenance.

The Samaritan PAD Pak provides over 30 shocks or 6 hours of continuous monitoring. (3 year standby life)

Up to 45 minutes of ECG (full disclosure) and event/incident recording can be stored on the units internal memory. This can be downloaded via the custom USB cable directly connected to a PC and SAVER windows based data review software.

What sets the Samaritan® PAD defibrillator apart from other companies' products?

The SAMARITAN® PAD Public Access Defibrillator is different from any other public access defibrillator on the market. Designed specifically for public access use, It offers: ease-of-use, reliability & durability - with a 7 year unit warranty, IP56 certification - all at an inexpensive price.

We have created a single cartridge called a Pad-Pak™, combining the battery and electrode pads into one component - giving the consumer only one expiration date to monitor. The cartridge has a shelf-life of 3.5 years from date of manufacture, and offers the consumer significant savings over other defibrillators that require separate battery and pad units. Best of all, once the device is used, a replacement Pad-Pak is quickly installed and ALL your consumables are refreshed and the system restored at once.

A pediatric version of this cartridge is also available for the samaritan PAD, called the Pediatric-Pak™, for patients 1-8 years old and less than 55 lbs (25 kg).

The SAMARITAN® PAD is lighter (only 2.4 lbs.) and smaller than other defibrillators on the market, making use and storage easier.
